Chapter 2


The hall was very long, but eventually, Shadz, Tyler and Jr made it to the sign up area.

"Next!" said a orange echidna with a torn ear and trashy looking hair.

"Sign me up baby!" yelled Tyler as he slammed his hand on the table.

The echidna merely glared at him and gave a small grunt.

"You're number is 46. You wait over there." he said as he pointed to a small gathering in the opposite side of the room.

"Me next!" dashed Jr as he almost tipped the table over.

The echidna was starting to get mad for Jr accidentally spilled his coffee on his head.

"You're number is 67. You wait over THERE!" yelled the echidna as he pointed to a small group over to the right.

Jr ran over there, sending papers flying all over the place.

"NEXT!" yelled the echidna as Shadz was finally up.

"Just wait over there." he said as he pointed to the same place Tyler was.

Shadz merely walked over to Tyler.

"I'm ready to go!" said Tyler as his eyes were aflame.

"Just dont get too confident. I thought i saw an old friend walk in." said Shadz as he laid hsi back on the metal wall.

"Whatever." said Tyler as he began punching the air.

Jr went over to  small shadowy place so that no one would see.

"Time to see if it still works." he said as he strapped on his old watch.

"Ladies and gentleman! The first round is about to begin!" said an announcer.

Then a screen appeared and the numbers were being chosen.

Then the numbers stopped on numbers 73 and 21, with a picture of each combatant next to the number.

"Looks like I'm up first." said Shadz as he walked out into the arena.

The arena was very large, even though it was only a dirt and rock field.

"Our first combatants are Shadz the Fox and Rad the Porcupine!" said the announcer.

At the other side was a red porcupine in blue jeans.

"You're going down, foxy boy!" he taunted.

"Heh, like wise, red." smiled Shadz.

Then a horn was heard throughout the arena which signaled the fighters to start.

The porcupine curled up and extended his needles.

"BLOOD STORM!" he screamed as thousands of nails rained down from above.

There were so many quills, that no one could see if they hit their mark.

There was a lot of dust covering the area.

"Heh, too easy." chuckled the Porcupine.

But then, hundreds of his own needles came raining down on him.

They all hit their mark and the porcupine fell.

Shadz was untouched.

"This rounds winner is SHADZ THE FOX!" yelled the announcer as the whole crowd cheered.

"Heh, weakling." said Shadz as he walked back into the waiting room.

The next combatants were a very disturbing looking robot fox and Knuckles.

"You're a freak! Someone should put you out of your misery." grinned Knuckles.

The machine merely beeped.

The horn rang and Knuckles charged at the fox.

The attack was so swift, that no one was able to figure out if anything happened.

Then the robot raised his mechanical right arm and snapped his finger. Knuckles collapsed on the floor, oozing blood.

The robot merely walked away into the waiting room with the rest of the combatants as a nursing crew came and took bleeding Knuckles away.

"Hey,  Tyler, did ya hear? said a voice in Tyler's head, he knew who it was.

"No, what?" he asked in his head.

"Knuckles almost died. Whoever that was he fought, he sounds tough. Watch your back, bro" said Shadz.

Tyler didn't look at all worried.

"Heh, anyone can beat that knucklhead." laughed Tyler.

The next fighters to enter were Tyler and Oblivion.

"You? Oh come on!" complained Tyler as he reluctantly stepped out into the arena.

"Now's my chance to prove I'm strong!" said Oblivion the horn rang.

Oblivion vanished and reappeared behind Tyler, who avoided his kick and hit him with a Chaos Spear.

"OH SH-" said Oblivion as he was engulfed by the yellow blast.

"Heh, loser." smiled Tyler.

But then he was sent flying across the arena as he was hit by Oblivion.

"Ok, YOUR PISSING ME OFF!" said Tyler as he pulled out his emerald.

"CHAOS SPEAR!" he yelled as he fired a hyped up Chaos Spear on roids.

"This just isn't my daaaaaaaaaaaaay!!" he yelled as he vanished within the blast.

"This rounds winner is TYLER PROWER!" said the announcer.

"I hate him." grunted Tyler as he walked into the room.

Then the next round was Rouge versus Jessica.

"GIRL FIGHT!" yelled Jr from the stands.

Both of them fell on their faces.

"He can get SO irritating sometimes." said Rouge, a vein popping out.

A lot of the men in the room were cheering louder than the girls.

The horn rang and the two of them dashed at each other.

"Ninja art! Smoke Screen Jutsu!" said Jessica as she enveloped the arena in a puff of smoke.

"Damnit." said Rouge, looking left and right, trying to see a glimpse of her enemy.

Then she heard kunai being thrown at her.

She jumped up and flew high above the smoke.

"Now i have you." said Jessica as she leaped high into the air and shoved her heel into Rouge's stomach.

Rouge got the wind knocked out of her and fell to the ground.

"Heh, you're good." she smiled.

Jessica then made some hand signs and yelled "FIRE STYLE: PHOENIX FLOWER JUTSU!" and many small flames surrounded Rouge.

She was scorched alive.

"And our winner is JESSICA THE CAT!"

"AWESOME!" yelled Jr from the stands.

Jessica grew a rather large vein on her head as she went into the tunnel.

"Come on! Me next! ME NEXT!" said an excited Jr.

The next fighters were Jr and.....the Tails Doll?

"SWEET!" said Jr as he jumped down onto the floor.

Everyone went quiet, awaiting the demon to enter.

Then a figure came approaching from the tunnel.It kept getting closer, and closer, and closer...and.............

"FEAR MEH!!" said a little kid in a poorly made Tails Doll costume.

Jr fell on his face.

"OH COME ON! GET ME A REAL FIGHT!" yelled Jr in a generic anime pose.

A few security guards came and took the kid away.

"I will be your opponent." said a mechanical voice.

"Oh crap! It's you!" said a shocked Jr.

"Urgh! He's fighting Jr." said Shadz, a little worry in his voice.

Jr's opponent was non other than the loathed and feared, Metal Sonic.

"Time to see if you really are his son." said Metal as he got into a fighting pose.

"Damnit." grunted Jr.
